Our skilled jewellers will come to your event with a selection of carefully curated chains and charms for your guests to choose from. OUR STORY
Aurora Sky is founded by me, Jess, inspired by the value of cherished memories. Losing my mum at a young age gave me a deep appreciation for having something special to remember loved ones by. This lead to the creation of Aurora Sky Forever Jewellery here in Yorkshire. My focus is on helping others capture and celebrate their most meaningful moments through custom, permanent jewellery.
The name Aurora Sky honours my mum, who loved the vibrant colours of the sky, especially sunsets. My son, who never met his nanny, finds comfort in looking to the night sky to talk to her, symbolising the enduring bond between generations and treasured memories.
Our forever jewellery line is particularly meaningful as my mum had rheumatoid arthritis and struggled with traditional clasps. This inspired me to develop practical, beautiful jewellery for those with similar challenges.
At Aurora Sky, we are dedicated to making sure your story and memory is captured through our jewellery. Known as forever jewellery, welded jewellery, or permanent jewellery, each piece is crafted with care here in Yorkshire, designed to be a reminder and tribute to the moments and people that matter most to you.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Is there an age restriction for permanent jewellery?No, although if you are under 18 years old, you will need parental consent at the appointment. Also, for younger children, we offer a clasp on their jewellery rather than welded so they are able to take it off for school and for safety reasons.

Does the jewellery set off metal detection alarms?Generally, our permanent jewellery doesn't set off metal detectors, but it's always best to inform security personnel if you're wearing it, just to avoid any hassle.

Do you cater for welded jewellery events outside of Yorkshire?Absolutely! We love to bring our welded jewellery events to different locations. We regularly travel locally to Leeds, Bradford, and York, but can visit your event further afield. Just get in touch, and we'll see how we can make it happen.

Is welded jewellery safe?Yes, welded jewellery is perfectly safe and painless! We follow all safety protocols to ensure you have a great experience.

Do I need to remove permanent jewellery for an MRI?Yes, you should remove all metal jewellery, including permanent pieces, before an MRI. We provide a complementary service if you need the jewellery removing and then reattaching at a later date.

Can forever jewellery be removed?While it's designed to be long-lasting, forever jewellery can be removed if needed. You can remove this yourself by using some scissors or nail clippers at the jump ring connecting the jewellery, or a quick visit to a professional jeweller will do the trick.

Can I return my welded jewellery?Since welded jewellery is custom-fitted, we can't accept returns. However, if there's an issue with the craftsmanship, please let us know, and we'll make it right.

Do you accept walk-ins?We don’t currently accept walk-ins as all appointments are pre-booked to ensure you get the best possible service.
